By investing in a network of fair trade businesses and collectives – many run and owned by women – we can build a truly global movement of businesses across the world, founded on principles of fairness, justice, and care for the earth, where everyone can earn a living without risking their basic safety.

The impact of your donation:

  • could fund a grant to provide female workers with vital safety equipment, as women who aren’t formally employed often can’t access the necessary PPE.

  • could provide training for a female entrepreneur, helping them access the resources and support to start and run their own businesses.

  • could fund a farmers’ association to recruit and train women to take up positions of leadership, so that women’s voices and experiences can influence decision making.

  • could help set up a community-owned shop in a rural area, run by women as a place to earn an income and be part of the public space.

  • could help fund gender equality training for a whole community, encouraging men and women to ‘role swap’ in order to better understand one another’s contributions to the household and challenge patriarchal attitude.
